A Little Bit About Me…
My name is Addie and I am 21 years old currently finishing my final semester here at MCC with plans to transfer to Roosevelt University to pursue a BA of Graphic Design. To understand me, one must first understand my connection to music and creativity…
Dancing Through The Years
I have always been a creative person. Since I was 3 years old, and for 17 consecutive years, I had been taking dance lessons. I’m still a dancer by trade, but I am not currently in classes. Dance and music has always been a big part of my life.

Music in Middle and High School

In middle school I picked up the ukulele and joined choir. These skills continued through high school, and I picked up the guitar to occupy more of my time during the pandemic.
The Theatre
I joined the drama department the second I hit freshman year of high school. I have always been one for the dramatic, and the theatre will forever be a passion of mine. I brought this love to the MCC BlackBox my freshman year here as well.

Art of Other Formats
I’ve also always been interested in physical arts as well. For instance, I have been hand-sewing since I was little and picked up using a sewing machine over Covid to make masks. I’m also into painting occasionally, and enjoy photography, but most of all: I love graphic design. Graphic design is my main course of study and what I dream to be my career one day. It is one of the most rewarding forms of visual art.
